Job Summary:

The Cable Tray Layer Technician is responsible for the installation, routing, and support of cable trays in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, and electrical codes. The role requires hands-on technical skills and the ability to work efficiently in a team to ensure proper cable management for electrical and communication systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Install and secure cable trays, ladders, and supports according to drawings and specifications. Ensure proper alignment, spacing, and leveling of cable trays. Assist in routing and laying electrical, data, and communication cables on trays. Verify that installations meet safety codes, project requirements, and quality standards. Perform routine inspections and maintenance of cable trays. Collaborate with electricians, engineers, and site supervisors to coordinate work. Maintain a clean and safe work area, following all safety regulations. Report any issues, deviations, or damages during installation.

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience as a Cable Tray Layer Technician or in a similar electrical/technical role. Knowledge of electrical systems, cable management, and installation practices. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Proficiency with hand and power tools used in cable tray installation. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards. Physical ability to lift, climb, and work in confined spaces if required.

Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in cable tray installation or related electrical work.

Certifications (Optional/Preferred):

Electrical safety certification. Experience working on industrial, commercial, or construction projects.

Pay: QAR1,500.00 - QAR1,600.00 per month
