Cable Pulling Supervisor - Experience Required

1. Project & Industry Knowledge

Minimum 8-10 years in electrical construction works, with at least 5 years in oil & gas / refinery / petrochemical projects.

Familiar with refinery standards (API, IEC, NEC, IEEE, NFPA, or client-specific standards).

Experience working in hazardous areas (Ex zones).

2. Technical Skills

Planning and supervising LV, MV, HV cable pulling & laying (underground, trays, conduits, trenches, vertical risers).

Knowledge of cable pulling techniques (winches, rollers, jacks, cable socks, lubrication, tension calculation).

Understanding of bending radius, pulling tension, side wall pressure limits.

Familiar with specialty cables (instrumentation, control, FO, armored, fire survival).

Coordination of gland termination, dressing, continuity & insulation testing.

3. Management & Safety

Leading teams of foremen and workers, assigning manpower and equipment.

Ensuring LOTO, PTW, confined space & hot work safety compliance.

Coordination with QA/QC for inspections and documentation.
