THE BEAUTY & WELLBEING DIVISION:

The Beauty & Wellbeing (B&W) division at Unilever houses iconic and loved Hair & Skin Care brands. This role will focus on PR and influencer marketing of our key brands Sunsilk, Dove, Clear, Glow & Lovely, and Vaseline. It is a critical pillar in brand marketing plans to drive brand equities, engagement, and overall business objectives.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

This role is dedicated for Hair and Skin Care brands and is hyper focused on execution of:

Brands\xe2\x80\x99 external communications, PR & Influencer Marketing in Executing the integrated communications plans for both brands including events Building relationships with stakeholders in the market. Leveraging knowledge / experience of multicultural beauty/hair and the cultural landscape is a must. Partnering with the local brand marketing and media teams, and global PR & Influencer teams to deploy specific plans and assets in the market. Managing annual PR and Influencer Marketing budgets. Managing PR and Influencer marketing agencies. Leading the PR & Influencer measurement and in-market optimization. Setting KPIs for PR and influencer marketing programs in the market. Maintaining strong media contacts and being the external-facing PR and Influencer marketing expert for hair and skin care brands. Manage local issues & risks.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications
  • An expert in PR, communications, and influencer marketing (6-8 years of experience either at an agency and/or in-house), with perfect understanding of what does and does not work in PR and Influencer Marketing channels.
  • A passionate beauty publicist and influencer marketer who is able to create and pitch compelling stories to deliver maximum earned coverage across earned and paid channels. Must be knowledgeable / expert in multicultural beauty and hair and the cultural landscape.
  • A relationship builder with media that has a network of existing media contacts with consumer and trade beauty print and online media, and broadcast outlets
  • A self-starter who is obsessed with tangible business results, OKRs and pioneering new models \xe2\x80\x93 pushing the boundaries of what it takes to land impactful PR and influencer content (that drives engagement and ultimately sales)
  • Ability to see all the priorities across the total brand to deliver the most optimal annual execution across PR and influencer marketing with breakthrough results
  • A collaborator who thrives on working together with different teams and marketing specialties to execute programs with excellence and clarity
  • Proven track record with executing resonant PR and influencer marketing programs in Arabia (preferably focused on KSA & UAE)
  • A strategic executor that leverages the thinking skills to develop strong programs for beauty brand campaigns and has an eye on cultural relevancy and purpose
  • A strong business mindset focusing on what is needed to drive impact and business results for the brands
  • Ability to work independently and own work/projects
  • Be in control of risk & issues management \xe2\x80\x93 identify potential risks, mitigation, contribute to live issues management led by corporate comms incl. seeking the correct inputs from brand, R&D
