Buyer/logistics Officer

Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Buyer / Logistics Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, and logistics operations within the GCC region. Candidates with prior exposure to the utilities sector will be given preference.
This role requires expertise in purchase order creation, as well as a strong understanding of logistics and shipping documentation to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the procurement lifecycle from sourcing to purchase order issuance. Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams for seamless delivery. Prepare and manage all shipping and customs documentation. Monitor shipments and resolve logistics issues promptly. Track, analyze, and report procurement and logistics KPIs. Ensure supplier compliance with company standards and contractual terms. Support cost-saving initiatives through efficient sourcing and logistics planning.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. 3-4 years of proven experience in Procurement, Purchasing, and Logistics in the GCC region. Utilities sector experience is highly preferred. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems. Strong command of logistics documentation and import/export procedures.
