Title:Buyer - UAE National

Responsible for expediting delivery of goods and materials to meet the delivery dates as set out in the Purchase Orders. Expedite supplier document submission and necessary approvals. Review monthly progress reports and arrange weekly/bi-weekly meetings with supplier to monitor the progress. Wherever slippages are noticed, identify necessary mitigation/measures and ensure it is implemented to avoid delays in delivery. Liaise with QA/QC team for quality documents review and arrange inspection with supplier as per approved ITP. Monitor packages to identify potential improvements in delivery times and highlight to the team for discussion. Coordinate required shipping documentation between Supplier and Shipping company to ensure shipment takes place to set delivery schedules. Understands the details and implications of PO Terms and Conditions. Update and issue procurement status report for the purchase orders being expedited. In the Pre-order stage, co-ordinate technical clarifications on supplier offers and ensure Technical Bid Evaluation is issued on time. Understands the importance of an audit trail and the required documentation to ensure the trail is proper and complete. Ensure all operations comply with the Company and Client operating policies and procedures. Proficient in Computer Applications including word processing and spreadsheet applications (MS Word & Excel)
