Job Purpose:





Oversee purchase order management and vendor management.


Expedite with suppliers: Follow up to ensure timely delivery of materials OTIF (On-time in full).


Coordinate with forwarding agents for In bound logistics.


Play a key role in strategic process transformation in materials and demand planning management.

Key Accountabilities:





Manage existing and potential Vendors across the globe.


Ensure material availability for production as per master production schedule.


Place purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of parts.


Monitor vendor performance.


Preparation of material status reports for weekly review.


Identify risks within the supply chain process and create mitigation plans to reduce these risks.


Supply chain and logistics - keep track of the material movements.


Vendor returns - Rejection and MSR management.


Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as required to enhance the efficiency, quality and service provided by the Supply chain department.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:



Engineering diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering, ITI electrical or mechanical or equivalent qualifications.




More than

3 years' experience in Supply Chain / Logistics in a manufacturing company,

(experience in Supply chain in a reputed organization, preferably switchgear industry will be added as advantage).


Experience of

working with suppliers across the globe.




Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Proficiency in English).


Data orientated, critical thinking and logical thinking are key attributes required in the candidate.


Hands-on experience in MS Office and ERP packages (experience in Microsoft D365 will be an added advantage).
