We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented
Buyer - Gate Barrier
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for purchasing gate barriers and related equipment, ensuring the smooth supply of quality products at the best possible prices while maintaining excellent supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the procurement of gate barriers and related components for our projects.
Analyze market trends and supply chains to identify cost-effective purchasing options.
Work closely with suppliers to negotiate terms, prices, and delivery schedules.
Ensure timely and accurate order placement to avoid project delays.
Collaborate with the technical and operations teams to understand the specifications for the gate barriers.
Monitor inventory levels and manage reorder points to maintain an adequate supply of gate barriers.
Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet the required standards.
Review purchase orders, contracts, and agreements to ensure compliance with company policies.
Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
Manage vendor relationships and resolve any issues regarding product delivery or quality.
Work within the company's budget and strive to find cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience as a buyer, purchasing agent, or in a similar role, preferably in construction or security systems.
Strong knowledge of gate barriers, automated systems, and related components is a plus.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Familiarity with procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
