We are looking to hire a Buyer at Lucy Switchgear FZE, Jebel Ali, Dubai.
As a buyer, you will ensure material availability on-time ahead of production, including purchase order management and liaising and expediting with supplier.
Achieve SCM resilience in terms of on-time delivery from supplier, shipping, and freight costs.
Key Accountabilities
Material Availability on time for Production
GIT report maintenance and updation
Recovery of MSR and NCR
Minimize Air Freight cost
Job Context
The position is responsible to:
Liaising with the assigned vendors.
Purchase order management
100% Availability Of material as per S&OP and production plan.
Expedite purchase order orders with Vendors.
Monitor Supplier performance by OTIF measurement
Recovery of Nonconformance & Short supply costs from Vendors.
Coordinating with the freight forwarding agents for logistics.
Adhere to company health and safety procedures, policies, and safe working practices.
Minimum Qualifications and experience:
Graduate / Diploma with Warehouse Management and Supply Chain experience
3 years Strong working knowledge in Supply Chain, ERP systems and MS Office
Job-Specific Skills:
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Software and Dynamics 365
Excellent English communication skills
