We are seeking an experienced and highly professional

Butler

to manage the daily operations of a private household and provide exceptional personal service to the Principal(s) and guests. This role requires discretion, attention to detail, and a commitment to the highest standards of service.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the household Provide formal and informal table service, including silver service where required Coordinate household staff and liaise with external contractors Manage household inventories, supplies, and wine cellar (if applicable) Prepare for and host formal occasions, events, and guests Ensure household presentation and standards are consistently maintained Handle personal errands and special requests with efficiency and confidentiality Act as the primary point of contact for the Principal(s)

Candidate Requirements

Proven experience as a Butler or in a similar private service role Exceptional etiquette, communication, and interpersonal skills High level of discretion, professionalism, and trustworthiness Strong organizational and leadership abilities 6 Days a week but a flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends Fluent English required; additional languages an advantage Relevant hospitality or butler training preferred
