The Butcher is responsible for cutting, trimming, preparing, and displaying meat and poultry products to ensure high-quality standards, proper hygiene, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Cut, trim, bone, and prepare meat and poultry according to customer requirements and company standards.
Ensure proper portioning, weighing, and packaging of meat products.
Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in the butchery section.
Monitor and control stock levels to minimize wastage.
Display products attractively to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
Follow food safety, HACCP, and hygiene regulations at all times.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting and advising customers on meat selections.
Operate and maintain butchery equipment safely (knives, saws, grinders, etc.).
Conduct regular checks to ensure freshness and quality of all meat products.
