Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Consultant you will serve as a client-facing practitioner who sells, leads and implements expert services utilizing the breadth of IBM\'s offerings and technologies. A successful Consultant is regarded by clients as a trusted business advisor who collaborates to provide innovative solutions used to solve the most challenging business problems.

You will work on projects that help clients integrate strategy, process, technology, and information to increase effectiveness, reduce costs and improve profit and shareholder value. You can take advantage of opportunities to master new skills, work across different disciplines, move into new challenges and develop a robust understanding of different industries.

Your primary responsibilities include:

• Identify business drivers and goals and develop compelling proposals and value-driven business cases to achieve desired business outcomes
• Translate client\'s business needs into business requirements and participate in the production of detailed design and technical specifications.
• Participate as part of our Energy & Resources team which provides crucial support and assistance to our Oil & Gas clients. Provide specialized consulting services within manufacturing and Asset Management.
• Provide operations analysis and consulting services including solutions design, implementation, technical delivery, and advisory faculties to assist our chemical processing and manufacturing clients in optimizing their processes and supply chain management through application of advanced technology.
• Evaluate and recommend solutions to clients and other decision makers regarding addressing manufacturing problems.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Solid background working in a Senior Business Consultant capacity.
• Experience of manufacturing data within an Enterprise tech environment.
• Knowledge of the Oil & Gas domain and manufacturing SME.
• Key experience and exceptional ability of Asset Optimisation.
• Strong understanding of Business Transformation.
• Experience working for a professional IT Service company and/or directly for a major O&G company.
• Exceptional project management capability.
• Ability to work with all areas of the business and comfortable operating at a C-Suite management level.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Hybrid cloud and AI tech understanding / hands-on background
• An understanding of Cloud technology and the solutions surrounding this.
• Certified qualifications surrounding Business Transformation.
