: Responsibilities:
Teach all areas related to the subject and relevant curriculum.
Establish and enforce rules for behavior, policies, and procedures to maintain order among students.
Observe and evaluate students? performance, behavior and social development.
Instruct students individually and in groups, adapting teaching methods to meet students' varying needs and interests.
Provide a variety of materials and resources for students to explore, manipulate, and use in learning activities.
Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate.
Confer with parents or guardians, other teachers, counselors, and administrators to resolve students' behavioral and academic problems.
Prepare students for later grades by encouraging them to explore learning opportunities and persevere with challenging tasks.
Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects, and communicate those objectives to students.
Prepare and implement remedial programs for students requiring extra help.
Meet with parents and guardians to discuss their students' progress, and to determine their priorities for their students and their resource needs.
Prepare objectives and outlines for courses of study, following curriculum guidelines or requirements of ADEK/KHDA and schools.
Guide and counsel students with adjustment and/or academic problems, or special academic interests.
Identify students showing signs of emotional, developmental, or health-related problems, and discuss them with supervisors, parents or guardians, and SEN Department.
Maintain accurate and complete student records, and prepare reports on students and activities, as required by ADEK/KHDA and School.
Assess students by conducting quizzes, tests, projects, etc ?
Prepare, administer, and grade tests and assignments to evaluate students' progress.
Meet with other professionals to discuss individual students' needs and progress.
Confer with other staff members to plan and schedule lessons promoting learning, following approved curricula.
Administer standardized ability and achievement tests, and interpret results to determine students' developmental levels and needs.
Prepare for assigned classes, and show written evidence of preparation upon request of immediate supervisors.
Utilize different types of technology in the classroom to create meaningful learning experiences for students of all ages.
Plan and supervise class projects, field trips, visits by guests, or other experiential activities, and guide students in learning from those activities.
Attend professional meetings including staff meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops to maintain and improve performance, and serve on committees as required.
Perform break duties as scheduled by the section?s administrators.
Perform administrative duties such as assisting in school libraries, play areas, and cafeteria monitoring, and during the bus timings.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and superiors
