About the School
This school opended its doors in 2017 and is located in the Al Barsha South area of Dubai, The schools offers a fully inclusive, exciting and outstanding education to an international community of students from FS1 to Year 9 and will continue to grow organically to Year 13.
The campus is state-of-the-art with separate buildings for each phase as well as a 380 seat auditorium. There are three temperature controlled swimming pools, fully equipped science and computer labs, specialist rooms for art, DT, music, and drama, a library, two multipurpose sports halls, a full size football pitch, a variety of outdoor play areas and a spacious canteen. The current capacity of the school is 940, but with the growth of the Secondary school and Sixth form progressively, the overall final figure is expected to be 1,800 with facilities designed for this number. With current student numbers at 240 the school offers an unusually spacious environment for its students.
The school follows the National Curriculum for England as the basis of its curriculum. This has been tailored to comply with local requirements and supplemented with Arabic language, Islamic Studies, Moral Education and Social Studies. In addition, the school has partnered with MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) to develop and deliver a bespoke AI (artificial intelligence) project-based programme for Key Stage 3 student
The school follows the English National Curriculum with a consideration to offer the IB Diploma programme as the schools expands.
There are after school activities available to all students which are run by teachers. These span across arts, leadership, academic, a myriad of sports, craft and construction. Examples include tennis, football, swimming, netball, karate, ballet, typing/coding club, sewing, music, construction, yoga and mindfulness, drama club, magazine club, math\xe2\x80\x99s puzzle club and performing arts.
