Job Description

We are looking for a skilled

Business Setup Accountant

to manage the full cycle of business establishment and early-stage financial operations for clients. This role combines company formation services with accounting expertise, ensuring that new businesses are built on strong legal and financial foundations. The ideal candidate will have a firm grasp of regulatory compliance, tax structuring, and accounting system implementation.

Key Responsibilities:



Business Formation & Advisory:

Assist clients in registering businesses in mainland, free zone, and offshore jurisdictions. Provide strategic advice on legal structuring (LLC, Free Zone Entity, Offshore) aligned with business goals and local laws. Prepare and submit incorporation documentation, license applications, and other regulatory filings. Coordinate with legal authorities, government departments, and free zone bodies for approvals. Assist clients in setting up corporate bank accounts, including documentation preparation and KYC coordination.

Accounting & Financial Operations:

Set up initial chart of accounts, accounting systems, and financial processes tailored to new businesses. Maintain accurate records of financial transactions using cloud-based or desktop accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books). Handle bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable for startup clients. Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements, management reports, and cash flow projections. Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control strategies in their early stages. Ensure compliance with VAT regulations, filing returns and supporting VAT registration processes. Provide guidance on payroll setup, WPS registration, and employee compensation accounting. Monitor and ensure timely renewal of licenses, accounting records, and compliance filings.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Minimum 6 months-3 years of experience in accounting, business formation, or financial consulting. In-depth knowledge of company setup procedures in [insert country/region, e.g., UAE or relevant]. Familiarity with free zone, offshore, and mainland compliance environments. Hands-on experience with accounting systems (QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho, etc.). Strong organizational, communication, and client-facing skills.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
