The Process Mining Consultant is responsible for converting event data into actionable business insights. This role leads end-to-end process mining initiatives on Level 4 processes, ensuring effective knowledge transfer to client teams. The consultant works closely with business and technical stakeholders to analyze "As-Is" processes, identify inefficiencies, and support data-driven process optimization using
ARIS Process Mining
.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the
end-to-end execution of Process Mining initiatives
, transforming raw event data into meaningful business intelligence using ARIS Process Mining.
Collaborate with
client process owners and stakeholders
to identify, extract, and validate required event logs and data sources.
Perform
data preparation activities
, including data cleansing, transformation, and structuring of datasets to ensure they are mining-ready.
Conduct
Process Discovery and Conformance Checking
, comparing actual "As-Is" execution against designed "To-Be" process models to identify deviations and compliance gaps.
Perform
Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
using methodologies such as 5 Whys and Fishboneto identify drivers of bottlenecks, rework, loops, and inefficiencies.
Define, configure, and monitor
process KPIs and dimensions
(e.g., Quality, Speed, Cost, Compliance, Innovation) to assess process performance.
Design, build, and customize
ARIS Process Mining dashboards
that provide clear, actionable insights for business and leadership stakeholders.
Measure and compare
"As-Is" vs. "To-Be" KPIs
, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization efforts.
Ensure
knowledge transfer and enablement
of client teams on process mining concepts, tools, and insights.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in
Process Mining
, Business Process Management (BPM), or Process Optimization roles.
Hands-on experience with
ARIS Process Mining
(or similar tools is a plus).
Strong understanding of
event data structures
, data modeling, and process analytics.
Experience with
process analysis, KPI definition, and performance measurement
.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into business insights.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
