Job Description
Lead the business planning, performance management, and economic analysis activities across the trading division. Partner with senior leadership to provide strategic insights, support decision-making, and drive commercial optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead annual business planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles.
- Produce forward-looking commercial and economic analysis to support trading strategies.
- Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, and performance KPIs.
- Drive month-end and quarter-end performance reviews with business leaders.
- Challenge assumptions, highlight risks, and identify optimisation opportunities.
- Support strategic initiatives including new products, markets, and commercial opportunities.
- Coordinate cross-functional inputs from Trading, Finance, Risk, and Operations.
- Enhance processes, systems, and reporting tools to improve business insight.
- Mentor and develop analysts within the team.
