About the job Business Manager (UAE National)

Our client is an investment management company that is a locally owned group of companies in transportation, retail FMCG, and services.

We are seeking a dynamic Emirati Business Manager to support the senior team in achieving policy objectives, enhancing profit, and expanding market share for their transportation and IT division. The role involves representing the company in negotiations, meetings, conventions, and seminars while maintaining effective communication with owners and stakeholders.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support the General Manager in directing and monitoring the overall performance of the organization.
• Facilitate effective liaison, support, and assistance across the organization.
• Assist in maintaining and improving mechanisms for organizational activities, including surveying and measuring operations, processes, outcomes, and profitability.
• Utilize appropriate systems for managing the organization\'s functions, analysis, and documentation.
• Aid the General Manager in developing plans for the organization to achieve targets and progress.
• Participate in recruitment, training, goal-setting, performance appraisal, and management of all team members to ensure targets are met.
• Monthly reporting as required, supporting the General Manager in developing plans for team activities and overall business planning.
• Set an example for team members in commitment, organizational processes, work ethics, habits, and personal character.
• Maintain accurate records and responsibly use resources to meet budgetary controls.
• Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, fostering cooperation with all members, suppliers, and customers.

Skills & Qualifications:

• MBA preferred (B-School)
• UAE experience preferred
• 5+ years in a senior managerial role, with industry experience mandatory
• Leadership, strategic planning, goal orientation, and understanding of all business operations.
• Effective communication in a multicultural environment, planning, organizing, and execution skills.
• Results-driven with the ability to develop and motivate direct and indirect staff and business partners.
