Negotiate annual contracts and business terms with suppliers for the assigned merchandise category.
To communicate with suppliers on a regular basis to update price lists, claim price compensations.
To control the reordering process with various suppliers.
To maintain records of purchase details and pricing variations.
to lead the coordination with all stores, suppliers, & the warehouse for consolidation of POs/stock transfers and ensure timely availability of products as per store needs.
To be in coordination with logistical team and maintain stocks necessary for sales and to control the reorder process.
Reviewing contracts
To achieve the sales / gross profit / Inventory objectives for the assigned category.
To have communication with sales & merchandising team and ensure smooth product sales through all possible sales channels.
To coordinate with sales teams & marketing teams in order to provide optimum visibility spacing the products.
To maintain high products availability and quality.
To evaluate merchandise assortment and plan introduction of new lines/phasing out of discontinued lines on a regular basis.
Analysis & implementation of cost management for each store through careful & appropriate allocation of product mix, merchandise & promoters/merchandisers via successful negotiation with store managers.
Support pre- & post sales services by coordinating with suppliers with the goal of achieving the targeted CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) levels.
Conduct periodic tours in the stores to get firsthand information about customer requirements in terms of products/trends.
Leading, training & monitoring the performance of the store staff to ensure efficiency in operations.
Work according to the set business operating procedures as well as suggest improvements for the assigned division.
Adherence to company policies, code of conduct, disciplinary procedures.
Be the ambassador for best business practices, ethics and code of conduct and ensure that business is conducted with uncompromising honesty and integrity while dealing with internal and external customers
Site visits to ensure smooth operations
Required experience, skills & qualifications:
MBA in business management with specialization in marketing/retail management/F&B management.
Minimum of 4 years as a Business/Brand/Project Manager in a large retail organization/International Coffee Shops/ Cafes/Francises with adequate exposure to retail operations
Excellent speaking and written communication skills.
A proven track record in relationship building and networking skills with the ability to interact effectively and professional, diplomatic and in a mature manner internally and externally.
Planning and organizing abilities.
