Many students in Dubai and around the world opt for Heriot-Watt\xe2\x80\x99s Degree Entry Programme as a sound means of bridging the qualification gap between school and university. The DEP smoothly transitions students into university life by equipping them with the study skills, research tools, and early course introductions to excel in their university career. Given the vast array of educational systems that students come from before entering our university, the DEP experience is an extremely valuable one in ensuring students success at Heriot-Watt. The main roles of the Business Management assistant professor would be
- Deliver high quality teaching to the students of the DEP, including the development of teaching and learning material.
- To identify and support students who require extra assistance as required.
- Setting and marking of coursework and providing feedback. Preparation of Course reports.
- Attend and contribute to Course Boards and Assessment Boards as appropriate.
- To contribute to the administration associated with the course delivery.
- To assist with recruitment activities including attending open days, school visits and promotional events.
