Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented

Business Development & Operations Manager

to lead sales initiatives, drive business growth, and oversee day-to-day laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will act as a key person between management, clients, and operational teams--ensuring efficiency, customer satisfaction, and sustainable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales

Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities across construction, oil & gas, infrastructure, and industrial sectors. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Develop proposals, quotations, and tenders; negotiate contracts and pricing. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to develop strategic sales plans. Achieve sales and revenue targets as set by management.

Laboratory Operations

Oversee daily operations of the laboratory to ensure timely and accurate test results. Coordinate with technical and quality teams to maintain compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and other relevant standards. Ensure equipment calibration, maintenance, and efficient resource utilization. Support and monitor the performance of laboratory personnel, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Implement continuous improvement practices in workflow, turnaround time, and client reporting.

Leadership & Coordination

Act as a liaison between the management and technical teams to align operational goals with business objectives. Prepare regular operational and financial reports for management review. Drive initiatives for cost optimization and efficiency enhancement. Lead training, mentoring, and performance evaluation for team members.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred). Minimum

5-8 years

of experience in a laboratory, testing, or construction services environment, with exposure to

business development and operations management

. Strong knowledge of

ISO/IEC 17025

, quality systems, and laboratory workflows. Proven track record in

sales, client acquisition, and key account management

. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP/LIMS systems.
