Our client, a leading hospital in medical, cosmetic & surgical services is seeking to hire a Business Development Officer for their unit in Abu Dhabi.
Job Responsibilities:
Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners\' needs and goals.
Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Ensure that all workings are manufactured in a correct, cost effective and timely manner in alignment with specifications and quality requirements
Chalking out or improve operational systems, processes and best practices that guarantee organizational well-being Purchase materials, plan inventory and ensure warehouse efficiency
Contribute towards the achievement of company\xe2\x80\x99s strategic and operational objectives
Cater to clients\xe2\x80\x99 or personnel\xe2\x80\x99s concerns.
Develops procedures arranging with Quality Managements.
Ensuring that all patients\xe2\x80\x99 services are provided as per hospital standards.
Periodically revising the official price list comparing/ other healthcare facilities.
Studying all the treatment programs, all publicity and marketing activities related to each department before being introduced to public.
Formulate brand plan and propose various Marketing strategies in accordance to corporate policy for establishing the Hospital brand
OSHMS:
Compliance to OSH legislative requirements within the DOH Sector of the Emirate Abu Dhabi.
Ability to understand and comprehend protection of Occupational Environment and the Health \xe2\x80\x93 Safety all throughout the workplace.
Ensure cooperation and dedication of effective implementation of Abu Dhabi OSHMS Regulatory Framework within DOH Sector and co-ordinate with relevant accrediting bodies and on other issues related.
Effective Health, Diversity and Productivity of the environment is protected, maintained or enhanced for benefit of future instances to achieve sustainable development.
Comprehensive knowledge on integration implementation of Risk Assessment and Management in Planning, Development, and Operation of Company Entity.
Ensure implementation of responsible care and management of occupational Environment, Health and Safety concerns including of prevention, reporting near misses, hazard/accident/incident, occupational illnesses and the enhancement of health and wellness throughout the workplace.
Ensure knowledge of effectiveness on Emergency Response Preparedness for the workplace entity and maintained at all times.
Ability to understand and comprehend on establishment of Company`s OSH targets/ objectives, monitoring, measures, reporting programs, continually coordinate in improving OSH Performance within the Company.
Professional Requirements:
Adheres to dress code, appearance is neat and clean.
Completes annual education requirements.
Maintains regulatory requirements, including all mandatory entity requirements, JCIA, JAWDA, ADHICS, OSHMS Standards and DOH regulations.
Maintains and ensures patient confidentiality at all times.
Reports to work on time and as scheduled.
Wears identification while on duty.
Attends quarterly/annual review and performs departmental in-services.
Works at maintaining a good rapport and a cooperative working relationship with physicians, departments and staff.
Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner.
Resolves personnel concerns at the departmental level, utilizing the grievance process as required
Effectively and consistently communicates administrative directive to personnel and encourages interactive departmental meetings and discussions.
Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices.
Communicates the mission, ethics and goals of the facility, as well as the focus statement of the department.
Sourcing advertising opportunities and placing adverts in the press - local, regional, national and specialist publications - or on the radio, depending on the campaign.
Sourcing, costing, and quoting the best possible quality and lowest price.
Managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters, e-newsletters and DVDs. To liaise with designers and printers.
Looks for new customers and clients.
Provide service proposals for potential customers.
Perform other applicable tasks assigned within the level of his competence, knowledge and skills, as assigned by his manager.
Education & other requirements:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in a related field.
At least 5 years relevant experience in Business Development or an equivalent
Salary: Upto AED 20000
Working Hours / Days: 10am \xe2\x80\x93 6pm / 6 days a week (Saturday weekly off)
