job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and mission-driven Business Development Manager to be based in UAE to lead our efforts in expanding sustainable agriculture initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of agricultural markets, sustainability principles, and partnership development. This role requires a strategic thinker and relationship builder who can drive growth, secure partnerships, and help us scale our impact. Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the sustainable agriculture sector (e.g. regenerative farming, agri-tech, climate-smart practices).
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders including agribusinesses, NGOs, government agencies, and impact investors.
Develop and implement business strategies to enter new markets or deepen presence in existing ones.
Prepare compelling proposals, pitch decks, and funding applications tailored to various partners and clients.
Collaborate with the sustainability, R&D, and product teams to align market needs with product development.
Create Commercial relationships with all stakeholders and obtain confirmed orders for the business.
Monitor trends, regulations, and innovations in sustainable agriculture and agri-tech.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
QualificationsMust-Have:
Bachelors degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships, preferably in agriculture or sustainability sectors.
Proven track record of developing and closing high-value deals or partnerships.
Strong understanding of sustainable agriculture practices and market dynamics.
Excellent communication(English & Arabic), negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have:
Masters degree or MBA with a focus on sustainability or agriculture.
Experience working with smallholder farmers or rural communities.
Familiarity with ESG frameworks, carbon credits, or sustainable supply chains.
