Business Development Manager
Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Our client is a leading packaging manufacturer for the FMCG industry, supplying companies across the region.

You will be responsible for the growth of the company. Working together with the sales team to develop mutually beneficial proposals, negotiate contract terms, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Manage major accounts, develop and maintain relationships with major clients. Drive sustainable financial growth by boosting sales and maintaining strong client relationships.

Role and responsibilities

Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
Promote the company\'s products/services addressing or predicting clients\' objectives
Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Establish and position yourself as a trusted advisor
Travels to various locations and conducts market analysis
Determines the credit-worthiness of prospective clients
Develop entry-level staff into valuable sales people
Manage the organization\'s relationship with existing customers as well as bringing new customers;
Prepare, discuss and agree with the Sales & Marketing Manager on yearly sales volumes and prices for each customer;
Achieve agreed sales target in designated market(s) following agreed KPIs;
Follow up collection to insure on time payment;
Update, per customer, rolling forecast for designated market(s);
Collect information about competitors and report it to the Sales and Marketing Manager;
Prepare sales analysis reports with challenges and suggested solutions for designated market(s);
Present yearly contract to each customer;
Participate with the Sales and Marketing Manager in setting the strategy for their respective area.
Overall accountability for Health Safety and Food Safety performance for the respective department.
Identify and provide resources to partake in the risk assessment of his/her process and implement mitigation measures to reduce the risks.
Ensure that the responsibilities allocated under the IMS, OSHAD, FSC, and BRCGS and the legal requirements are complied with in terms of equipment and personnel.
Ensure his/her team conforms to the requirement of reporting (near miss/unsafe act/unsafe conditions), and participate in the investigation of incidents and accidents.
Interface and coordinate subcontract activities in a manner that will meet the IMS, OSHAD, FSC, and BRCGS requirements.
Take reasonable care of their own safety and health and of persons that may be affected by their acts or omissions at work.
Co-operate with employer with respect to any instructions and/or actions taken by the employer to protect the employee and/or comply with IMS, OSHAD, FSC, and BRCGS requirements.
Report all Health and Food Safety incidents and work-related injuries.

RequirementsRequirements

Candidate must have a Bachelor\'s degree in a related discipline;
Previous experience with the Aseptic Packaging industry is a plus;
Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales and marketing;
Excellent communication and presentation skills;
Knowledge of marketing principals;
Hard worker, well organized with the ability to prioritize and multitask;
