You will be accountable for identifying and maximizing new sales opportunities and managing a pipeline of opportunities from generation through to win, drawing in support of the wider Fendercare team as necessary.
You will carry out market research to identify opportunities and understand global market changes/players/new product requirements to drive direction and plan
As our BDM you will establish localized partnerships to support growth, sales, and delivery
Compile and commit to a focused sales plan
Account manages key customer relationships
Ensure profitability and aim for a 30% gross margin on projects won and products sold, understanding the business goal to achieve an operating profit of 15%
The candidate will be accountable for undertaking extensive international sales visits to support winning business or new ventures and be responsible for stakeholder relationship development and management, therefore excellent pre-trip preparation and planning are essential.
Responsible for retaining current business with the support of regional sales teams as available.
Identify and manage key risks of activities and projects within the industry including new country entry risk review.
Provide support to assist with budgeting and forecasting as well as maintaining a good understanding of the current market potential and provide detailed overview on request
You will be expected to provide impeccable customer service to our partners & clients and contribute to the development of strategic plans with our clients
Responsible for getting tenders that are on offer in the business sector and support the commercial aspects and consult in the bid/no bid process. Be informed of bid statuses and support any post bid follow up with clients
You will be expected to host, where required, any corporate events, support with organisation and management as well as being prepared to present at any relevant industry forums to help promote the company
Be consulted in relation to internal and external audits
Be consulted with on producing and updating company presentations, brochures and handouts and management of giveaways
Support the Quality Assurance Team with new processes and procedures and consult on continual improvement opportunities
Support the Delivery team where necessary with operational coordination, enquiries and debt chasing
