Job Position : Business Development Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Business Development Manager
to lead and drive growth opportunities in the
Oil & Gas sector
, with a focus on
shop fabrication, piping, structural steel, Process skid fabrication, equipment erection
, and
on-site construction/maintenance works
. The ideal candidate will have a strong network within the oil & gas industry, experience with EPC contractors and end clients, and the ability to identify and secure new business opportunities from UAE / Overseas project concept through to execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities in the oil & gas market, specifically in fabrication and site construction services.
Build and maintain strong relationships with EPC contractors, consultants, and end clients (e.g., ADNOC, ARAMCO, NMDC, IOCL, ONGC, etc.).
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform sales strategies and identify emerging trends.
Prepare and deliver technical and commercial presentations to clients and stakeholders.
Collaborate with engineering, estimating, and project teams to develop tailored proposals and quotations.
Lead tendering and bidding processes including prequalification, proposal preparation, and negotiation.
Meet or exceed defined sales targets and contribute to the company's long-term strategic goals.
Monitor and report on business development activities and provide accurate sales forecasts.
Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; MBA is a plus.
15+ years of business development experience in the oil & gas sector, specifically in shop fabrication (steel structures, Process skids, piping) and site works (installation, shutdowns, turnarounds).
Strong understanding of fabrication shop operations and site execution processes.
Proven track record in securing high-value contracts and managing key client accounts.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with industry standards (ASME, API, AWS, etc.)
Experience working with clients in the UAE, Middle East or Southeast Asia.
Knowledge of contract structures: EPC, EPCM etc.
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office tools.
