To manage and develop a portfolio of Key Accounts at a senior strategic level within UAE.
To acquire intimate knowledge of the Accounts: business practices, supply chain decision making processes, management, health and safety structures and site-based contacts to ensure that Rapid maximise available revenue generation opportunities
To represent Rapid's capabilities and core values within the marketplace.
Working with the Operational Team to ensure that the customer experience is excellent, and the portfolio meets or exceeds Rapid's financial objectives for the trading period.
* KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working at a senior level within Oil & Gas Accounts to identify opportunities at an early stage for Rapid to develop profitable business relationships through the hire and sale of equipment and ancillary services.
In partnership with the local team create and convert equipment hire and sales enquiries to orders, by conducting site and customer visits and sizing project requirements and customer needs (equipment types, volumes, delivery phasing, manpower requirements etc).
Manage existing key client relationships within the portfolio of accounts, so that revenues and profitability are maximised.
Identify, investigate, and present to new prospect customers (clients, EPC's and contractors).
Be responsible for planning and delivery of individual project and account strategies to accomplish goals, working cohesively with colleagues to best effect, achieving profitable outcomes by means of equipment hire, sales and service offerings.
Augment bespoke sales approaches and demonstrate Rapid's key differentiators; clearly communicate the benefits of product innovation, service excellence and industry best practice to deliver volume hire activity and maximum penetration of target business.
Manage and attend Best Practice Open Days, customer safety- led events and site safety meetings
Be an integral member of the sales team, capable of self -managing time, selling activities, reporting and measurements of success.
Perform against targets set for portfolio customers (existing and prospect) and ensure that rental and non-rental revenue targets are achieved in line with agreed objectives.
Work closely and communicate with the operational team, sales team, service team, accounts team and country management to ensure maximum business potential is delivered.
Provide regular feedback concerning market and industry trends
Provide weekly enquiry pipeline and detailed monthly forecast updates to line manager, along with activity action plans.
Support and assist the credit team in resolving any issues that will result in collecting payments.
Provide updates to the collection team on the payment status of your account on a regular basis.
Attend joint visits with the credit team to help improve collection results.
Support the credit team in escalating the credit policy for non-paying customers and ensure this is communicated well with the customer.
Attend monthly credit meetings with the credit team and country manager and implement the actions that are decided.

Proven track record in a business-to-business target -driven, consultative sales role in the Oil & Gas.
Ability to demonstrate effective negotiation skills and deliver convincing arguments to win commercially viable business
Experience of strategically growing business in an assigned territory through an understanding of a customer base, competitor activity and buying behaviours
UAE industry sales experience
Competence in the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Valid car driving licence
Fluent in English
Fluent in Arabic and Hindi
Well-presented, commercially astute individual with a strong understanding of business development activities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully build rapport with others
Ability to establish credibility and be decisive
Self-motivated, dynamic, and confident, with the ability to work on own initiative
Detailed, organised and results-oriented
