The Business Development Manager is responsible for exploring, seeking and developing new businesses and investing in strategic opportunities beginning with analyzing the market, setting the strategy, developing the business plan, liaising with legal and other consultants to finalize the deal and launching the business. BDM will support in scaling the current businesses, developing new businesses and strategic partnerships, identifying and negotiating new investments & M&A opportunities locally, regionally, and globally.
Strategic:
Works closely with seniors to set the department strategy aligned with the Group vision & mission
Explores, identifies, and seeks new investment opportunities aligned with the strategy set.
Evaluates opportunities in multiple sectors using systematic approach.
Conducts business and market research, including SWOT analysis and other methodologies
Prepares feasibility studies, Business Plans, Financial Due Diligence/assessment reports, financial models and recommendations of the potential opportunities for the Management to conclude on a business opportunity.
Operational:
Participates in due diligence audits, site visits, meetings of potential enterprise companies to purchase.
Creates and manages an annual business development plan.
Coordinates technical and operational requirements for new businesses and ventures with internal Business Units.
Liaises the contractual requirements with Legal, Finance, and other support Teams.
Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new ventures with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners\xe2\x80\x99 needs and goals.
Supports the management in all aspects of business development.
Understands the BUs requirements and accordingly supports them in their growth plans Participation in monthly BD meetings.
Liaises with all departments as required) to ensure projects are successful.

Manage the relationships with industry partners including negotiating contracts, managing of commercial structures, evaluation of industry benchmarks.
