Our client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to support the growth of his company.
Job Summary
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing new business opportunities across logistics and trading verticals, building strong client relationships, and increasing market share. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cargo handling, delivery services, and international freight, along with exposure to auto parts, cosmetics, and perfumes markets.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities in logistics, cargo handling, and delivery services.
Drive sales across sea freight, air freight, and road transportation solutions.
Develop partnerships with suppliers, distributors, and key clients.
Expand business in auto parts, cosmetics, and perfumes sectors.
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and growth opportunities.
Prepare proposals, pricing, and contracts for potential clients.
Negotiate commercial terms and close deals to meet revenue targets.
Maintain accurate sales pipeline and reporting using CRM tools
Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth service delivery
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field
Proven experience in business development or sales
Experience in B2B and B2C environments
Strong skills in partner relationship management
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Arabic & Tanzanian languages preferred
Male candidates preferred
Ability to work independently
