. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving company growth through strategic partnerships and project acquisition within the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities in the Oil & Gas sector across upstream, midstream, and downstream segments.
Develop and implement strategic business development plans aligned with company goals and market trends.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, EPC contractors, government agencies, and key stakeholders.
Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and feasibility studies to support strategic decision-making.
Prepare and present proposals, bids, and tender documentation in collaboration with the technical and finance teams.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms to secure profitable deals.
Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
Work closely with internal departments (operations, finance, and engineering) to ensure project delivery aligns with client expectations.
Monitor market developments, new technologies, and regulatory changes in the energy sector.
Achieve assigned sales targets, revenue goals, and performance KPIs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master's Degree is an advantage).
Minimum
5-8 years of proven experience
in
Business Development or Sales within the Oil and Gas industry
.
Strong understanding of the energy sector, including upstream exploration, oilfield services, and project management.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to develop and maintain long-term professional relationships.
Strategic thinker with a proactive and goal-oriented mindset.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
