Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Business Development Manager for Modern Trade will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and expanding market presence of our coffee brands within the

modern trade channel

(supermarkets, hypermarkets, convenience stores, and retail chains). This role requires strong negotiation skills, relationship-building expertise, and a deep understanding of the coffee industry and consumer trends.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Growth

Develop and implement business strategies to achieve sales targets in the modern trade segment. Identify and secure new business opportunities with key retailers, distributors, and chains. Drive product penetration, visibility, and brand awareness in retail outlets.

2. Key Account Management

Manage relationships with existing modern trade partners and negotiate commercial agreements. Monitor account performance and ensure timely execution of trade promotions and marketing activities. Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to maximize growth potential.

3. Market Development & Strategy

Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities in the coffee category. Recommend pricing strategies, promotional activities, and product positioning for modern trade. Work with marketing teams to develop in-store visibility and activation campaigns.

4. Operations & Execution

Oversee listing, merchandising, and shelf space optimization in modern trade outlets. Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure product availability and timely deliveries. Track and report sales performance, forecasting, and budgets for the division.

5. Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and finance to execute trade strategies effectively. Train and guide field sales teams and merchandisers assigned to modern trade accounts.

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED14,000.00 per month
