We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven

Business Development Manager / School Liaison Officer

to lead outreach efforts with schools, nurseries, and educational institutions. The ideal candidate will build strong relationships, identify partnership opportunities, and coordinate bookfairs and literacy events on behalf of Booktopia Dubai

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with school principals, coordinators, librarians, and nursery owners. Serve as the main point of contact for school clients across Dubai and the UAE.

Sales & Business Development:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the education sector (schools, nurseries, training centers, etc.). Pitch and present Booktopia's offerings, including school bookfairs, curated classroom collections, and early learning sets. Achieve and exceed monthly sales and outreach targets.

Event Coordination:

Plan and execute bookfairs and reading events in schools and corporate environments. Coordinate logistics with school staff, internal team, and external vendors. Ensure smooth event setup, promotion, and follow-up.

Marketing Support:

Collaborate with marketing to support campaigns targeting schools and educators. Represent Booktopia at educational exhibitions, teacher conferences, and reading festivals.

Reporting & Strategy:

Maintain accurate records of outreach, client communications, and sales pipelines. Provide monthly progress reports and market insights to management. Recommend strategies to grow Booktopia's presence in the education sector.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Education, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field Minimum 3 years' experience in business development, education sales, or school liaison roles in the UAE Strong network within the UAE school and nursery sector is a plus Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (Arabic is an advantage) Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently Valid UAE driving license and willingness to travel across schools in Dubai and nearby emirates
