Job Description

Limco Logistics Inc., is searching for a full time Biz Dev Manager to create and build new business opportunities from the U.S. to UAE and other Middle East countries, we are looking for someone with a good experience in freight forwarding especially in Middle East and great sales, marketing and ops background.

1) Experienced in Sales & Ops
2) Ability to sell and close deals
3) Knowledge of freight forwarding/NVOCC ops. and A/F4) Excellent working knowledge in shipping business.
5) Understanding of typical requirements, terminology and processes of shipping AIR & SEA FREIGHT
6) Working knowledge of typical warehousing, freight consolidation and container freight.
7) Ability to perform freight cost analysis, read ocean freight rates, and general bill of lading terms.
8) Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
9) Excellent presentation and communication skills.
10) Previous experience working in freight forwarding company dealing in AIR & SEA FREIGHT EXPORTS and CONSOL.

Duties and Responsibilities

1) Find local and international logistics business partners.2) Sell air & sea freight services.3) Follow up with customers, resolve issues and obtain shipping commitments.4) Set up pricing quotations and meet both sales and margin projections.5) Work with operations staff to provide customers the desired service level.6) Update Company owned software with customer information.

Education and Experience

1)Minimum of two(2) years of hands-on experience in AIR & SEA FREIGHT IMPORTS2) Knowledge of AIR & SEA terminology and pricing spot rates etc.,3) Excellent computer skills, use of Excel, Word and Outlook.4) Technical training in freight forwarding,

Customs regulations, or related fields is a PLUS.Language Skills

1) Require excellent English verbal and writing skills.Leadership and Reasoning skills1) MUST be a self-starter and a high achiever.2) Ability to close sales and convince customers to use company services.3) Ability to resolve practical operational problems and deal with a variety of situations.4) Must be organized and detailed orientated.5) Ability to work in a high pressure environment and multitask.
