Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and driven

Business Development Manager

with a

proven track record in the Shipping and Freight Forwarding industry

. This role is critical to driving revenue growth, expanding our client base, and strengthening our market presence in the UAE.

The ideal candidate must have

previous experience in freight forwarding and logistics

, and a deep understanding of the local market, trade dynamics, and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic plans to drive new business and increase market share Identify, pursue, and secure new clients in need of freight forwarding and shipping services Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention Present tailored logistics solutions to customers, showcasing company strengths and capabilities Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate rates and contracts, and close profitable deals Stay updated on market trends, competition, and regulatory requirements in the shipping and logistics space Collaborate with internal operations and customer service teams to deliver high-quality solutions Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking functions

Requirements & Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience

in a

Business Development role within the Freight Forwarding or Shipping industry

in the UAE Solid understanding of

air, sea, and land freight services

Established network of clients and contacts in the logistics sector is a strong advantage Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive environment Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred
