Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and expand market presence.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Develop and implement strategic plans to meet sales targets and business objectives.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform strategy.
Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to align business development efforts.
Prepare and present business proposals, contracts, and presentations to potential partners.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of business development strategies and campaigns.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
Proven experience (3-5+ years) in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the retail industry.
Strong understanding of the retail landscape, consumer trends, and sales cycles.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis platforms.
