Under the guidance of the Clients Servicing director, the BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER will be requested to: Develop business activities with German agencies that wish to set up their events within the GCC. Main Accountabilities: Under the guidance of the Clients Servicing director, the Business Development Manager will:
Identify, contact, and liaise with prospect clients.
Take brief, analyze project, prepare commercial offer in liaison with the Clients Servicing director or Managing Partner for potential projects.
Follow up project, responsible for its signature and for LPO receipt.
Liaise with adequate Departments to ensure proper delivery of project. Responsible for quality and on time delivery.
Liaise with Clients to obtain due payments.
Ensure active follow up of existing clients.
Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Keep record of sales, revenue etc. and insure that the database is up-to-date on daily basis
Requirements:
Proven experience (5 years) in a similar role in the events & exhibitions industry
Preferably with KSA experience
Graduated from Business School
Highly proficient in Windows Office
Proven sales track record
Market knowledge: good knowledge of German market players
Be a team player and be keen to contribute ideas
Build strong relationships, respect and support others
Time management and planning skills
Understanding of international challenges
General Obligations towards Health, Safety and Environment
You will correctly use machinery, appliances, tools, transport, and all equipment issued by the company.
You will correctly use personal protective equipment supplied by the company.
You will not remove any safety devices for any machinery or installations.
You will perform all tasks set forth by safety and environmental regulations and thus cooperate with Electra to ensure a working environment and condition that do not pose any risks in terms of health, safety and environment to others.
