Job Description
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team and help us expand our customer base. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and driving revenue growth. Role and Responsibilities
- This role is a key position in the Global Freight & Logistics Transformation and Business Performance.
- The role focuses on developing new business segment from Jebel Ali, retention and penetration.
- Hands-on approach in driving Transformation Projects which are spread across functions and geographies to achieve the business objectives.
- Hands-on experience in Pre-Sales, Customer Facing Assignments, and customer management lifecycle for the Freight & Logistics Industry.
- Hands-on experience in managing Business Performance via KPI design, periodic evaluation, and budget management.
- To deliver tangible and sustainable top line growth and/or bottom-line savings on Freight & Logistics initiatives.
- Maintain, adjust and communicate updates to project plans as needed to the customers and internal stakeholders.
- Hold an independent view of business performance and support global plans for continuous improvement.
- Through the application of Data Analysis of data and projects of varying size and scope, identify opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce costs and maximize asset utilization.
- Support the evaluation of emerging digital improvement tools and systems and benchmark the best practices
- Gathering Market intelligence to ensure the competitiveness of the solutions.
- Supply chain management expertise in Global Freight Forwarding or Supply chain Management.
- Having Express knowledge would be an additional advantage.
- Sales & Operational Planning in a global team with Demand & Forecast management experience.
- Business Transformation experience in the supply chain industry.
- Existing relationship with companies in Jebel Ali is a must.
- Bachelor\'s degree is a must, preferably a Master\'s degree
- 3-7 years with a successful track record in Business Transformation projects, Pre-Sales, Consulting, Data Analytics & Reporting
- Quickly adaptable and a continuous learner.
- Demonstrated skills in driving operational efficiency and cost-optimization projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent soft and communication skills.
