Description

To manage the distributor partnerships across the region and to develop and implement sales and marketing plans that drive profitability targets and support the overall growth strategy of a major international FMCG company.
Key responsibilities
To deliver growth in line with brand aspirations
To reevaluate the distributor network and renegotiate terms and partnerships as required
Establish a retail strategy that will ensure delivery of growth targets and strengthen the brand within the market
Evaluate and propose a business case for establishing a legal entity within the region
Build and set budgets across all areas of the P&L account
Job Dimensions
Based in Saudi Arabia or the UAE with regular monthly travel to Saudi Arabia, this role will support 10 markets including Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait , Lebanon, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, UAE, Saudi and India.
The key focus will be on growing the Saudi market and managing the distributor relationships across all markets with the support of an agent based in Dubai. Each market currently facilitates a sole distributor relationship.
This role will be responsible for driving turnover and managing profitability with a budget of 1m rising to 2m based on growth
Current volumes are expected to grow by 50% in 2015 from current levels
The role will involve weekly and monthly reporting to the clients Executive Leadership Teams together with the provision of monthly sales and profit reporting
Full P&L responsibility, managing ROI and budget control

Candidates will ideally have 8-10 years FMCG experience preferably within the Middle East region
Strong proven sales background
Previous experience of working with multiple distributors and managing relationships remotely
Category and consumer knowledge would be beneficial but not essential
Fluent English speaker
Must have eligibility to work in Saudi and the UK as required
UK based FMCG company with internationally recognised consumer product brands
