New Business Development and Client Attraction
Generate new business leads and source prospective client opportunities by attending regular business and social networking events
Attract new clients through tele sales
Generate lists of prospective clients
Contact prospective clients to present information and explain available services
Interview prospective clients to obtain data about their financial resources and needs and to discuss any existing coverage
Explain features, advantages, and disadvantages of various policies to promote the sale of insurance and savings plans
Book qualified appointments by means of tele sales
Client Management
Proactively communicate with existing clients as directed by the Wealth Manager
Participate in sales meetings with clients and prospective clients at the request of the Wealth Manager
Services client’s needs and requirements, as determined through client interaction, at the request of the Wealth Manager
Academics
Participate in required meetings, training, and continuing education requirements
Attend regular training sessions to improve knowledge of the business/financial sector
Attend personal development meetings to progress career
Responsible for coaching and mentoring a Business Development Manager
Targets
Achieve business targets with regards to appointment making and database management
Report and meet with the line manager to review performance and gather feedback
Education/Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or Finance or equivalent.
Experience
Previous experience in the Financial or Wealth Management industry is preferred but not necessary
