Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic business development plans to expand the company's customer base and increase market share.
Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities in the logistics, transportation, and freight forwarding sectors.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
Work closely with internal departments (operations, customer service, finance) to ensure client satisfaction and seamless service delivery.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and business opportunities.
Prepare and present sales forecasts, performance reports, and business proposals to senior management.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in business development in logistics, transportation, and freight forwarding.
Strong understanding of freight forwarding procedures (air, sea, and land), customs clearance, and local/international logistics operations.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and highly organized.
Valid QID and transferable NOC is mandatory.
Immediate availability preferred.
Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
