About the Opportunity Due to rapid growth, were looking for a talented individual to join our international team as a Business Development Manager based in Abu Dhabi to help transform lives through innovative teaching solutions and technology.
EP already has a super-charged Demand Generation engine, so our Business Development team members focus on working with Teacher Consultants (subject specialists & ex-teachers who have previously used the program in the classroom) to engage with qualified prospects and help convert them into happy customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop the strategy to further develop our market position and penetration in your assigned territory
Ensure your yearly revenue target is met

Actively contribute to marketing efforts in your territory

Provide ongoing market feedback & regional insights to the wider team
As an EP Business Development Manager, you will make a difference if you:
Proactively prospect for new business and follow up on qualified leads to target new opportunities

Identify, make connections and nurture relationships with key decision-makers including senior school leaders and other strategic partners and school associations

Demonstrate product value, delight customers and secure sales in line with our business plan

Proactively work with key opportunities at all times of the year to look at strategic value-add opportunities and to drive engagement

Ensure existing customers continue to subscribe year after year, and facilitate 3-year agreements with said department

Lead the handover process for new customers within your territories

Work with your regional Teacher Consultant team to ensure they are able to articulate the benefits and best practice of EP in a consistent and effective way
Keep up-to-date with education trends and curriculum updates to continually drive your self-development and keep abreast of market/industry trends.
Some of your daily activities might include:
Closely monitoring the sales pipeline through HubSpot and reporting on progress;

Meeting with your regional team to identify renewal, upsell and cross-sell opportunities with existing customers;

Responding to email & phone queries from schools, as well as actively reaching out to new customers;
Running in-person & virtual demos and PD sessions for both purchasing & trialing schools;

Contributing to the marketing of EP in your assigned territory and beyond.
Who are we looking for?
As an EP International Business Development Manager, no two weeks are the same - so were looking for someone who enjoys fast-paced, varied work.
Highly focused, you will enjoy coming up with new ideas and finding creative solutions in order to achieve revenue objectives.
Experienced, positive and highly engaging, youll be able to quickly build rapport with school leaders and teachers, as well as internal team members.
This is a dynamic role that will really suit someone who enjoys working autonomously, but also genuinely loves collaborating and contributing to a high-performing team in order to achieve company goals.
Essential:
At least 5 years consultative sales experience in SaaS and/or Edtech / education

An engaging, positive personality with a 'can-do' attitude

A genuine interest in education and Edtech

Strong team-work and communication skills

Being resilient and persistent
Advantageous:
A good understanding of international schools in the Middle East
Working knowledge of HubSpot
