Save job JOB DESCRIPTION The PositionYour ResponsibilitiesCreate Business development strategy that foster internal strengths and capabilities to gain new business in UAE and the regionCreate and own the assessment and go-to-market plans for new solutions, enhancements and new market segments/commercial modelsContribute to achieve the country overall financials targetsManages a defined sales accounts to achieve sales and financial targets in accordance with the company's strategic goalsResponsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives in targeted accountsInteracts with business managers to communicate sales performance, and cooperates with Marketing and support functions to implement promotional strategies and to monitor competitor's activitiesContinuous search for opportunities in the market and develop strong relationship with key stakeholdersIdentifies, create appropriate business plan, develops and typically closes new business opportunitiesPromotes and sells a portfolio of products and/or services and solutions directly to new customersAnalyze competitive landscape and adapt the local strategy to maintain the competitive edge in the market Develop customer prospects and create and maintain relationships with decision makersWorks to build and maintain network of colleagues, partners, and customers to share information and obtain prospectsDemonstrate deep product knowledge and present product narrative to customersAdaptable to understand different market challenges and opportunities to act accordingly towards the business priorityWorks on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factorsNetworks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertiseNormally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignmentsContacts new customers (Non-Roche) as targeted accounts, and developing new business, growing existing business, maintaining customer relationships and solving customer problems. This includes identifying and developing strategic account plans, developing and delivering the differentiating message and quantifiable economic value for products and services, selling the primary differentiation of Roche products, overcoming and managing objections, and negotiating to obtain sales.Generates demand and maximizes product awareness by working with and providing education and information to customersAbility to sell digital products and position the impact to the healthcare system and patients.Communicates competitive market information internallyActively participate in allocated squads (multidisciplinary business team with a common goal) mainly with the aim to: Gather customer insights and market dataContribute to strategic plan developmentDefine general approach for new clients and regularly revise the approachComplianceYou are expected to adhere through your conduct to all applicable laws and regulations as well as to the high integrity standards as set forth by Roche.Who You AreYou hold a BSc/MSc degree in Medical, Biomedical, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or similar scientific. An MBA in business or marketing is considered a plusYou have at least 5 years of relevant experience in Sales or equivalentYou have advanced knowledge on all Roche Diagnostics (IVD) solutions, and that of competitors as wellYou have strong communication and presentation skills. You are able to expresses ideas fluently and eloquentlyYou are result focused and have strong influencing and negotiation skillsYou are all in for teamwork and collaboration, and inspire others to do their best work by offering support and encouragementYou have a growth mindset with the ability to think and plan strategicallyYou have strong interpersonal skills, and are able to establish trust and strong collaborative relationshipsYou listen well and are open to input/insights from othersYou can be depended on to tell the truth regardless of the circumstances, and are capable of resolving conflict by creating an atmosphere of openness and trustYou are fluent in English.
