Job Description

Key Responsibilities



Business Development



Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities across construction, oil & gas, infrastructure, and industrial sectors. Build and sustain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure long-term partnerships. Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and tenders; lead contract and pricing negotiations. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to shape strategic sales plans. Meet and exceed sales, revenue, and profitability targets established by management.

Laboratory Operations



Oversee daily laboratory operations to ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality testing services. Collaborate with technical and quality teams to maintain full compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and other relevant standards. Ensure proper equipment calibration, maintenance, and optimal resource utilization. Supervise laboratory personnel, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and accountability. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency, turnaround time, and client satisfaction.

Leadership & Coordination



Act as a key link between management and technical teams to align operational goals with business strategy. Prepare and present regular operational, performance, and financial reports to senior management. Drive initiatives for cost optimization, productivity improvement, and process excellence. Lead, mentor, and evaluate team members to support professional growth and high performance.

Qualifications & Skills



Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred). 5-8 years of experience [ minimum 2 years in UAE] in laboratory, testing, or construction services environments, with a strong background in business development and operations management. In-depth knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 standards, quality systems, and laboratory processes. Demonstrated success in sales, client acquisition, and key account management. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Proficiency in MS Office; experience with ERP and LIMS systems preferred.
