This is an entry level position offering AED3000-3500/month. Zen Film Productions is a Dubai based boutique film and video production SME that focuses on curating content ranging from films, corporate videos, music videos and more for Middle Eastern and Asian markets. We are currently scouting for a Business Development Assistant to join our all-female inhouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a range of activities that are related to securing sales leads. In this position, you should feel comfortable with cold calling, liaising with the CEO and other employees for leads, and approaching sales opportunities with rigour- whether through email, by telephone, or in person. In other circumstances, you may be requested to assist on key production or sales deliverables, such as shoots/events, PowerPoint proposals, sales pitches, or pitch decks. It is important that the candidate is well-versed with Zen Film Productions\' old, new and upcoming projects as well as the dynamic sales climate in the UAE. Timings vary due to volatility in the industry. Responsibilities
- Increasing profit through attaining sponsorship or sales opportunities (convert leads into sales)
- Professionally approach sales opportunities through persuasive email copy and effective telesales
- Creating sponsorship proposals, pitch decks or business opportunity presentations via Powerpoint or any other mediums for potential clients/sponsors
- Provide daily to weekly reports on sales opportunities and clients etc.
- Manage all incoming and outgoing communications in regards to sponsorship and sales, whether through email, Whatsapp, or social media
- Schedule own travel
- Assist or accompany team in shoots, events and other tasks as and when necessary.
- Speaks and writes advanced level English
- Experience in sales, film or event management is a plus
- Lives in Dubai, UAE
- Comfortable working with a team in commercial and/or flexible working arrangements e.g. home office, co-working spaces in Al Barsha area
- Comfortable traveling to Al Barsha
- Ability to work during irregular timings (e.g. for short film and corporate shoots, events etc.), i.e. this job is not a regular 9-5, we work six days a week
- A serious candidate who is prepared to stay at the company on a long term basis- visa will be provided
- A valid UAE driving license is preferred, but not mandatory
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
