In this role, you'll connect global strategy with local execution, working closely with processors, acquirers, card networks, alternative payment providers, and issuers to minimize risk and reduce incident impact.
What You Will Do:
Lead end-to-end incident management, from initial triage to full resolution.
Coordinate internal teams and external partners to restore services rapidly.
Run war rooms and ensure timely updates to stakeholders, account managers, merchants, and partners.
Improve and maintain operational playbooks and runbooks (degradations, outages, configuration issues, hypercare).
Conduct root-cause analyses, manage corrective actions, and ensure insights are shared and implemented.
Drive business impact assessments with Product, Engineering, Operations, Risk, and Compliance teams.
Define clear RTO/RPO targets and escalation processes.
Plan and execute BCP/DR tests with payment partners; ensure proper failover paths and data integrity.
Monitor continuity KPIs (MTTA/MTTR, incident trends, merchant impact).
Strengthen partners' operational governance: SLAs, escalation matrices, emergency hotlines, and incident exercises.
Support major merchant go-lives with structured readiness checks and hypercare.
Maintain high-quality documentation of incidents and decisions (Jira/Confluence).
Participate in on-call rotations across multiple time zones when needed.
What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
4-6+ years of experience in
payments, fintech operations, business continuity, incident management, merchant operations, or processor/partner support
.
Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem (processors, acquirers, APMs, card schemes, SLAs, settlements).
Proven ability to lead cross-functional incident response and drive root-cause analysis.
Experience designing and executing continuity plans, BCP/DR tests, and operational runbooks.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management; calm under pressure and merchant-centric.
Strong analytical mindset; proficient with Excel/Sheets, Jira, Confluence, and data-driven decision-making.
Fluency in French and English.
