Business Communication Specialist

You will be working as Business Communication Specialist, will be the part of Electrification Business Area for Distribution Solutions division based in Dubai, UAE. In this role you will be responsible to implement assigned marketing communications activities through all available communications tools according to ABB guidelines, directives and messages and in the frame of an approved budget

Regional Communication Manager, EL \xe2\x80\x93 MEA

Your responsibilities

• Proposing and implementing communication plans validated by the regional electrification marketing communications manager, developing creative concepts related to all communication vehicles in accordance with company\xe2\x80\x99s communication branding guidelines
• Overseeing work provided by internal and/or external resources, organizing company owned events and helping with participation in various trade exhibitions to increase corporate image and to support business, maintaining good working relationships with key suppliers and vendors in the GCC region
• Performing the project planning, implementation and monitoring for all events and trade shows, ensuring that all projects meet their goals, milestones and timelines in support of our wider strategy, executing the planned events and activations ensuring that they meet the events pre-set project objectives and KPIs in a timely manner whilst meeting leadership expectations
• Managing the delivery of all external and internal events and activations (both internal and external events), maintaining project management dashboard for each event to monitor analytics and to measure and improve activities
• Acting as an advisor to marketing and sales teams across to support in concept development, production and execution of external events and activations, creating comprehensive marketing plans, including media selection, messaging, creative concepts, and timelines and collaborating with creative teams to develop impactful marketing content and assets
• Ensuring consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across various advertising channels and platforms, coordinating and overseeing the execution of campaigns across multiple channels, such as print, digital and social media
• Monitoring campaign performance, conduct A/B testing, and make data-driven adjustments to optimize results, coordinating with the local and global ABB communication managers to deliver best outcomes, managing the creation, production and publications of brochures, catalogues and other sales literature in either printed or electronic form to support sales activities and product launches
• Maintaining a positive and integrated network in internal and external communication communities to promote knowledge of current practices and innovation

Your background

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree / master\xe2\x80\x99s in communications/Public relations
• 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a PR agency or in-house mandatory
• Experience in ADOBE InDesign, photoshop, basic video editing skills mandatory
• Good network with vendors in the UAE, understanding of design, printing etc
• Travel may be required, office based role but events will require support beyond normal working hours.
• Fluency in English language is mandatory
