Job Responsibilities: Plan, direct and control the operations of the Business Center to meet the production target while maintaining quality standards, minimizing costs, and ensuring a safe working environment. Use principles of effective leadership in the development of subordinates and coach subordinates and make a plan for developing team members. Lead by sample, following all the safety policies of Goodyear, and managing the EHS of the department Identify the improvement actions to enhance the safety performance in his department Ensure the required production volume targets are achieved by planning, scheduling, and controlling the production process. Ensure safe working conditions for associates by compliance with company's safety policies and practices compliance with company's safety policies and practices and maintaining a clean and orderly plant. Ensure that the required production quality standards are met through monitoring, investigating, and initiating corrective measures on off-spec production. Stay in permanent contact with internal and external customers and analyze quality feedback, organize regular visits through Qtech. Support plant productivity targets by optimizing machine uptime/capacities. Contribute towards a highly productive workforce by developing, training, motivating subordinates, and enforcing discipline. Ensure a highly profitable operation by monitoring and controlling the production costs and waste through CI initiative and methodology. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in chemical, polymer science, Industrial Engineer or related fields With 3 to 5 years of management experience and leading a team Knowledge of tire or rubber process Background in quality and reliability systems Understanding human relations and working well with a team Experience in production specialists, process engineering, and continuous improvement Safety: knowledge of procedures for personnel safety and ergonomics Production and Management: knowledge of production process, quality control, costs, and techniques for maximizing effective manufacturing process
