Position Overview
ITRH Tech is hiring an experienced Business Applications Support Analyst Banking to join our Dubai team. This role is ideal for professionals with strong Oracle SQL expertise, regulatory compliance knowledge, and business analysis skills within the banking sector. The candidate will be responsible for supporting banking applications, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving system implementation and integration initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Oracle SQL Development

• Write, debug, and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL queries.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and reporting for banking operations.
• Support compliance and business teams with data analysis and insights.

Regulatory & Compliance Support

• Contribute to solutions aligned with Basel III, FATCA, AML, KYC, and Central Bank regulations.
• Ensure audit readiness, data traceability, and regulatory reporting compliance.
• Collaborate with compliance and risk teams to meet evolving requirements.

System Implementation & Integration

• Provide application support for wealth banking systems (e.g., Prospero, Avaloq) and reporting platforms.
• Participate in UAT, SIT, and regression testing.
• Assist in system rollouts, upgrades, and integration activities.

Required Skills & Expertise
Domain Knowledge

• Solid understanding of retail, corporate, and digital banking products & services.
• Familiarity with financial reporting standards and regulatory frameworks.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL.
• Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and reporting tools (e.g., OBIEE).
• Strong knowledge of system integration and data migration.

Business Analysis Skills

• Skilled in preparing BRDs, FSDs, use cases, and process flows.
• Experience in both Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear technical and functional requirements.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time-sensitive deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
• 35 years of experience in IT/business analysis within the banking sector.
• Prior experience in business applications support, regulatory compliance, and system testing is highly desirable.
