Secondary Business Studies & Computing OR History Teacher

Experience: Two Years\' post qualifying experience

Salary: 13-14,000 AED per month tax free dependent on experience

Contract: 2 years renewable

Role:

As the school moves in to Secondary with the opening of Year 8 the school seek a flexible individual able to teach Business Studies (3 lessons per week) alongside Computing (8 lessons) OR History (7 lessons per week). The successful candidate would also need to teach moral, social and cultural studies (mandated by UAE government) or an enterprise, innovation, entrepreneurship, social skills programme/global perspectives to those students not studying Islamic studies. Whilst this is more of a generalist role initially - there will be an opportunity to specialise as the school grows over the coming years.

Requirements:

• In order to fulfil UAE Visa requirements you should have matching BA and PGCE (Or equivalent) in matching subjects or a Bachelor of Education in the subject you will be teaching.
• UK curriculum experience highly sought after.
• Minimum 2 years post qualifying experience.
• The experience, personality and educational philosophy to drive further, the education agenda at this flagship school with an international student body.

• Previous international and/or EAL experience welcomed.
