Nair Systems is currently looking for Business Analyst - Payments for our Qatar operations with the following terms & conditions. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent. Minimum Experience: Min 5 years' relevant subject matter expertise in Banking payments - Business Analytics related projects with Min 2 years' working in T24- payment modules (Temenos). Knowledge, & Other skills: . Good working knowledge of IT services and system development/ integration. . Sound Understanding of the Payment's operating models. . Sound understanding of the SWIFT transition to ISO2022. . Sound Understanding of the payment's monitoring (AML, Fraud, etc.). . Sound Understanding of the payment's reconciliation. . Sound understanding of the Banks Limits Structure (Nostro/ Vostro) & Correspondent bank relationship. . Sound understanding of the accounting entries. . Prior experience in projects covers E2E Cross Functions. . Sound Knowledge of using MS VISIO tool. . Should have proper knowledge in the Requirements gathering techniques. . Sound knowledge in the Product Life Cycle. . Analytical mindset. . Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively. . Good computer and MS office skills. . English speaking KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITES . IT and Business Relationship Management . Partnering with business users to gather all requirements to formulate business specifications and translating those into business functionality. . Documenting workflows and results of business analysis and obtaining sign-off from users on specifications. . Assisting the technical team in translating application functionality into application architecture and the production of a business functionality requirements statement. . Communicating the business directives, goals, and needs to the technical. . Designing and executing test plans to ensure that business requirements and functional specifications are implemented properly. . Work with IT on system capacity to determine feasibility of projects. . Works with IT application analysts and programmers as necessary. . Performs analysis of department production and redesigns workflow if appropriate KEY COMPETENCIES . Functional / technical skills - must have functional and technical knowledge of banking payments/ money transfer services (SWIFT - MT & ISO20022, RTGS, Automated Clearing House, instant payments, direct debit, etc.) & Basic understanding of banking products/ services (Trade finance, facilities, etc.). . Dealing with ambiguity - Can effectively cope with change; can shift gears comfortably; can decide and act without having the total picture; isn't upset when things are up in the air. .
