Job Description

The Business Analyst at GSSTech Group will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This position involves analysing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting the implementation of projects that enhance productivity and efficiency. The successful candidate will collaborate with diverse stakeholders, gather and document requirements, and ultimately contribute to the successful delivery of IT solutions that meet both current and future business goals.

Responsibilities



Requirement Gathering:



Work closely with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements. Conduct interviews and workshops to elicit detailed user needs and expectations. Assist in defining Business & non-functional requirements and perform impact analysis for proposed changes.

Process Analysis:



Evaluate existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions. Develop process maps and workflows that outline the current and future states of business operations.

Documentation:



Prepare clear and comprehensive business analysis documents, including BRDs, functional specifications, and user stories. Maintain accurate project documentation throughout the lifecycle.

Stakeholder Communication:



Act as a key point of contact between the business units and the technical team, ensuring clear and effective communication. Conduct regular meetings to provide project updates and gather feedback.

Testing and Validation:



Assist in the development of test cases and support user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet business requirements. Recommend adjustments and improvements based on testing feedback.

Data Analysis:



Analyse data to identify trends and opportunities for improving business processes. Prepare insightful reports and presentations for management.

Training and Support:



Provide training and support to end-users, facilitating effective use of new systems and processes.

Requirements



Experience:



3-5 years of experience as a business analyst or in a related field, preferably within the technology or financial services sector.

Education:



Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

Skills:



Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide insights based on data analysis. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in business analysis and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence). Ability to facilitate workshops and identify business needs effectively.

Knowledge:



Basic understanding of business process modelling and improvement techniques. Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management.

Attributes:



Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively in a team environment. Proactive attitude and a desire for continuous learning and improvement.
